Cookie Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
This page lists every cookie flaminjoy.com can set. Only the strictly necessary one is set without asking; analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you allow them in the cookie banner, and nothing in those categories runs at all until you do. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the browser on a later visit. Some are set by the site you are visiting (first-party); others by a service that site uses (third-party).
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you.
- fj_consent — set by Flaminjoy. Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. Expires after 6 months, when we ask again.
Analytics (optional)
Set only if you allow Analytics. They tell us which pages are read and how people move through the site, so we can improve it.
- _ga — Google Analytics 4. Distinguishes one browser from another. 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id> — Google Analytics 4. Keeps the state of the current session. 2 years.
- _hjSessionUser_<site-id> — Hotjar. Recognises a returning browser. 1 year.
- _hjSession_<site-id> — Hotjar. Holds the current session. 30 minutes.
Google Analytics and Hotjar process this data on our behalf. See Google’s privacy policy and Hotjar’s privacy policy.
Marketing (optional)
Set only if you allow Marketing. They tell us whether our campaigns bring visitors who later get in touch.
- _gcl_au — Google Ads. Links a visit to the ad that led to it. 90 days.
- __hstc — HubSpot. Recognises a returning browser for lead tracking. 6 months.
- hubspotutk — HubSpot. Connects a visit to a contact if you later get in touch. 6 months.
- __hssc — HubSpot. Counts the pages of the current session. 30 minutes.
- __hssrc — HubSpot. Detects a new session. Until the browser closes.
Google may also set its own advertising cookies on its own domains when marketing is allowed. See how Google uses information from sites and HubSpot’s privacy policy.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page. Withdrawing a category deletes the cookies it set that this site can reach and reloads the page, so nothing from that category keeps running. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings at any time.
